With 4 weeks to go until the exhibition, the final stage of the project has begun. I have finalised the images I am going to use for my final artwork and have had them resized to A3 for transferring onto screens.
Unfortunately, I have had a minor setback, I have not been able to print my images onto acetate due to the college printers in the college not working. However, I am going to use other facilities in order to get passed this: printing company within Falkirk (can't remember the name of the company).
I have started to print from the 1 screen that I have prepared and the image has turned out nicely. My intention is to develop this further and experiment a little more with an over lap of colour., whether this works aesthetically or not at A3 size has yet to be discovered but will be carried during tomorrows class.
Things still to do:
- Getting remaining images images transferred onto acetate ASAP
- Over lap colour onto other prints
- Complete promotional material (webpage, business cards, postcards)
- Statement for Assessment: Due to start wk beginning Mon 20th May

Potential glass work for final artwork alongside prints:
Glass works were only experimental to begin with but I feel they relate well to the prints and the overall concept on value and appearance. Glass pieces are drawings of the prints with glass. It is a further abstraction of my intial paintings, drawings and photographs
