Over the past couple weeks I have been continuing my research into OCD and what aspects I could take from my research in order to produce an artwork in response to theme and concept of the project. Through extensive research I have began to focus more on the compulsive aspects of OCD where by the person needs to carry out certain task a specific number of times until it feels right. Keeping this in mind my intension is to base this project the actions of someone that I came close to and how their experiences/compulsions affect them.
I therefore intend to produce a multiple of prints/painting conveying/expressing the persons actions but also wish to produce a multiple 3-D element of the object that they feel compelled to put down a specific number of times.
The intended outcome for this project is to work with printmaking and/or painting but also with an installation element. Documentation of the development stage will follow at a later date.
